Human identification research center has been established to accumulated technologies of human identification, which can distinguish identities of living or dead bodies, and data of Korean characters needed for it.

This center is also to construct a bank of human identification data based on the quality control and standardization of these data & technologies and further more to contribute to solve the domestic or international social issues related to human identification.
