The educational purpose of Yonsei University College of Dentistry is as follows:
“Based on the spirit of Christianity, we train creative dentists with upright
character and professional capability, thereby contributing to the oral health
of mankind.”

In order to realize this, our educational goals are to train

1) healthcare providers who have work ethics centered on sacrifice, service, and
love and perform patient-centered treatment;
2) talented people who have an international perspective, leadership. and the
latest dentistry knowledge and skills;
3) creative experts who are capable of teaching and improving themselves.

Yonsei University College of Dentistry proposed an advanced model of clinical education for students by installing the nation’s first examination room for students and implemented patient-centered education through the integrated lecture system and PBL education system.

We will continue to actively develop specialized education program to cultivate global talented individuals, who lead the change in the dental medicine and have the academic qualification, creativity, and sensitivity required for global leaders.
